Speak up & Talk to your Partners. Voluntary & Community Sector and Local Strategic Partnerships Event. 15 June 2009
This event was planned to enable VCS groups and public sector partners to get to know more about their Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) and the voluntary and community sector in East Sussex. The event was very well attended by 75 participants from across all districts in East Sussex from different size, local and countywide organisations and public sector bodies.
"I thought the event was very interesting and informative and well attended."
"It has been a really useful day, worth while coming for me."
"We have made links with Fire Services, which are not linked directly to LSP but may result in a great piece of partnership work. It wouldn't happen, if we didn't come to the event."
The event was organised by the SpeakUp Forum in cooperation and support from all Local Strategic Partnerships across East Sussex. Funded by SpeakUp and Progress through Partnership (PtP).
The outcomes of the workshops and discussions will inform future SpeakUp Forum activities, will be passed on in an appropriate way to the LSPs and the actions coming out of those will be monitored.
