Commissioning Grants Prospectus for Health, Social Care & Wellbeing

The Commissioning Grants Prospectus 2012 will be open for applications on 15th February 2012!

Over the past three years ESCC (East Sussex County Council) consulted users of services, carers and the voluntary sector, about providing services in the future, and how different organisations could be involved.

First launched in early 2011, the Prospectus is a new, joint approach to investing. It offers direct support to local people in the areas of Adult Social Care and Health & Wellbeing.

This year (in 2012) the Prospectus will offer new commissioning outcomes from a range of departments across East Sussex County Council and the local NHS. ESCC is talking to other public sector funders about investing through the prospectus. ESCC expects to commission services for:

  • working age adults with mental health problems
  • people with early onset dementia
  • Black and Minority ethnic access to healthcare
  • health improvement
  • generic infrastructure support (to better equip voluntary and community sector organisations to deliver support)
  • children services
